Welcome to Tony's Little Italy, a cozy pizza haven nestled in Placentia, California. This charming restaurant is a treasure for anyone who craves authentic Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Since opening its doors, Tony's has garnered a loyal following, and it's not hard to see why.

Step inside, and you're immediately wrapped in a warm, friendly atmosphere that's perfect for family gatherings or a casual night out with friends. With a laid-back vibe and an intimate setting, it feels like you're dining in a friend's home rather than a restaurant. Though the seating is limited, the welcoming staff are eager to make you feel right at home, serving you up deliciousness with genuine smiles.

The star of the show at Tony's is undoubtedly the pizza. Known for its hefty portions, the menu boasts a variety of toppings that cater to every taste. It’s hard to resist the classic Cheese or the bold Pepperoni, but the true standout is the Tony's Special Deep Dish. Overflowing with hearty sausage, savory mushrooms, crisp green peppers, and zesty onions, each bite is a symphony of flavors and textures. The crust is expertly cooked, providing a delightful contrast to the abundant fillings — no sogginess here!

Customers rave about their experiences, with one satisfied patron describing Tony's pizza as the best they've ever had, even compared to the famed deep-dish pies from Chicago. Another delighted guest proclaims, "You will not leave hungry!” with the heavy, rich pizza leaving diners savoring every last bite. Many have made the pilgrimage from surrounding areas, simply for the chance to indulge in this culinary delight — a testament to Tony's rising prominence among pizza lovers.

However, it's essential to plan your visit, as the deep-dish pizzas are made fresh to order, often requiring a wait of about 45 minutes. Don’t let that deter you! The anticipation only builds your appetite for what's to come, and it’s a small price to pay for culinary satisfaction that many claim is worth a drive from miles away, with some traveling from Riverside just to get their fix.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Tony's Little Italy is a must-visit destination for pizza enthusiasts. Come for the pizza, stay for the heartfelt hospitality, and leave with a satisfied appetite and a smile. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a community experience that captures the essence of Italian-American dining.

Ready to dive into a deep-dish wonderland? Be sure to stop by Tony’s Little Italy on N Placentia Ave, where comfort food meets family-friendly service. Don’t forget to bring a few friends along — you’ll definitely want to share a slice and make some unforgettable memories!

This is without a doubt the best pizza I have ever had. Been coming since 2007. I took my friends from Chicago here and they said it was better than the deep dish back home. The wait is totally worth it even though there is not a lot of seating the vibe there is excellent. I cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Been to Tony’s Little Italy a couple times with family and friends, and it does not disappoint. It’s a very heavy pizza, and you will not leave hungry. Make sure you bring some friends who can eat. I usually get the Tony’s Special deep dish pizza. Comes with sausage, mushroom, green peppers, and onion. Big fan of Chicago style pizza, so this always hits the spot. If you’re looking to share a hefty pizza with friends and family, I highly suggest Tony’s Little Italy.

Being a Chicago transplant, I crave a good Chicago pizza. Living in Riverside, I don't have too many choices close by. Decided to give this place a try after watching a Facebook or Instagram reel. Didn't look promising from the pictures I found online, but it said it was one of Yelp's top 5 Chicago pizza places in the nation so had to go try it out for myself. It was a good 45 minute drive for me. Hoping it was going to be worth it. Once I arrived, I noticed the place was very small. Only a few tables available inside the Pizzeria. A couple more outside on the sidewalk. Of course it was on a Sunday when I went and the Bears were playing so no where to sit inside. It was nice, however, seeing other Chicagoans routing for our home team sporting their game day gear. We ended up sitting outside, at least it was a nice day and was able to watch the game through the window front. We ordered a large stuffed spinach pizza. The wait was quite a while. Longer than any other place I've ever been to. Especially having only a few customers there. I did, however, see a lot of people picking up their orders and leaving. We waited close to an hour. It finally came. The pizza was fresh out of the oven. We let it sit and settle for a few minutes. When I finally cut into it, the center cheese came rushing out. It was a very messy pizza. Never seen one that messy before. Hoping it tasted better than it looked. The spinach was skimpy. I think they could have put more spinach in it, but oh well. Took a first bite and was pleasantly surprised at how good and fresh it tasted. Not quite as good as a pie from back home, but definitely better than any I have had here in southern California. Worth the drive there. The sauce, I think, could have had more spices added to it, but definitely savory. Not sweet like some other places. I think the sauce is what differentiates a true Chicago pizza from the rest. More zesty than isweet. I loved the crust. It was very crispy throughout and buttery. Not flaky, which I'm not a fan of. This crust had good flavor and crunch. Not easy to find in a stuffed pizza. The undercarriage was still firm, especially for being stuffed. Very difficult to find that in a stuffed pie. My biggest disappointed was when I asked for a side of giardiniera peppers. They said they didn't have any. What respectable Chicago Pizzeria does not stock giardiniera peppers? Tisk, Tisk. Big no-no in my book. To me, they simply go hand in hand. If I ever go back, I will take my own jar of peppers. Overall, I was very pleased with this pizza. I want to go back and try the thin crust. It is a bit pricey, almost $50 out the door for a large stuffed, but then again everything has gone up in price. I did feed 3 adults and 2 children, so not crazy expensive, but it is just a pizza. Take it as you may. I would recommend Tony's Little Italy for their pizza. My favorite here in socal for sure. I did also enjoy all the Chicago sports paraphernalia on the walls. Very reminiscent of my hometown. If you haven't gone, you must give it a try.

Location is very small but seems cozy and friendly. The staff is super nice engaging and well just plain ol friendly. We ordered to go and the pie was still hot by the time I got it home. I learned about Tony’s from KTLA and an article that rated Tony’s as one of the top places in all of the US for Deep Dish Chicago style pizza. Well I don’t have many reference points. I have had pie in Chicago and I can honestly say Tony’s Pizza is better. The sauce is superb, the tomato is fresh and you get plenty of cheese. They earned their reputation. Do your taste buds a favor make a stop to Tony’s.

Wonderful place every thing is good but what makes them extra special is that DEEP DISH pizza. Phenomenal! So delicious and filling! The staff is so nice and friendly and feels like you are welcome by family.

Good, but did not live up to the reputation. Tons of cheese and sauce. They know how to cook the crust so it’s not soggy on the bottom. But overall the deep dish isn’t super flavorful. However, it is good value for money. We had 3 hungry guys split the large with one piece left over. As others have said, it is best to order ahead. The deep dish is made to order and takes 45 minutes. You can also tell them you plan to eat there and they will reserve a table for you. However, Tony’s needs a better system for reserving tables. We were told there should be one available for us soon. So when one of them was vacated, we took it. We were then told we were not first in line. Would be easily solved by a number system
